New Year greeting to friends (Welcome 2013).

Dear friends,

Because of jet-travels and instant communication via many global networks such as CNN ,BBC and Internet, the world seems to become relatively “smaller”, and looks like a “big village” where every event (big or small) is seen and heard by everybody.
The word “global village” is coined to describe this phenomenon .
Suitable culture for global village should be all-embracing ‘multiculturalism’. Definition of “culture” according to a dictionary is “all the arts, beliefs, and social institutions etc., Characteristics of a community”.
In fact culture is social glue which binds communities to live in peace and harmony.
The concept of ‘multiculturalism’ is invented for new world order.
I would like the reader to get a glimpse of the idea “multiculturalism” from a poem composed by a famous poet, Derek Walcott. Walcott is a west-Indian-born poet.
He represented his “identity-card” in the following poem:
“I’m just a red nigger who loves the sea,
I had a sound colonial education,
I have Dutch, nigger and English in me,
And either I’m nobody or I’m a one-man nation “.
He’s right.
The true poet is a one-man nation.
He was born and brought up in multicultural environment.
Dear friends, "globalization" is taking place at unprecedented pace and
accordingly we should adopt all-embracing culture.

Plight of a computer university fresher / Julia alias su nyein nyein chan.

dear aunty shwe zin u 1961,



i am now 10 days @ kyauk seဲ computer university(ေက်ာက္ဆည္ ကြန္ျပ ူတာ ယူနီဗာစီတီ).
i have to ride about 20 miles to the university;
sometimes ,if i do not get a seat, i have to stand the whole journey ;
i feel very exhausted when i got at my class room ;
buildings are very big and lovely.
we have a very grand convocation Hall.
but we do not have canteen in our university compound.

we do not have trees and flower gardens;
when i was in High School, i used to dream of beautiful flowers and big trees and beautiful lakes (like Inya lake);
i dream to walk around with my friends in beautiful flower gardens.
we have many teachers;
most of them are Ph.Ds!
we are very proud of them ;
but we are not very happy to wear university uniforms;
we want to wear trendy dress (especially jeans);
we are not allowed to do that; very bad? don't u think so?

u read a lot;
but unfortunately u read cartoons!

A wizard with a “magic wand” can fulfill his wishes.

Aladdin with his wonderful magic lamp looked for a beautiful princess and his wish was fulfilled by rubbing his Magic lamp.

Cindrella found her wonderful prince by means of her golden shoe.

Internet is more or less modern equivalent of magic lamp.

The difference is “you have to rub the lamp” and “you have to click the mouse” for the miracle to happen.

*You can get your “beautiful princess” not by rubbing but by clicking your magic mouse.

Last Saturday, my eldest daughter and her husband attended a wedding reception.

hind parts of lion or a big inverted begging bowl!

We are on a pilgrimage trip from Mandalay to a small village –Mingum(where the world's largest ringing bell is situated).
It stands on the bank of Irrawaddy river .
Beside the big bell , there is an unfinished gigantic pagoda – only the base had been completed .
In front ,there are two chinthes(Burmese mythical lions)guarding the entrance of the big pagoda .
Due to an earthquake and unproportioned built,both of them had been crumbled down to the ground.
Only the hind parts remain to this day. They are almost three stories high and were blackened with moss and lichens.
A professor of mine mistaken this (hind parts of the mythical lion ).with a big inverted begging bowl,seen from a distance!

Case History.

The story began in 1900 in Yunan

A young poverty-stricken Yunanese boy( from the village of Htain Chone )by the name of Law San ventured into Burma.
He was hard working .
He did manual odd jobs for a living first in Bhamo, then in Mandalay , then moved to Chaung U near Letpadaungtaung .
Gradually Law San became a rich elite in Chaung U.
He married a headman's daughter.
U Law San became a very prominent person in Chaung U.
Gradually his off-springs virtually became "ruling elites" of Chaung U.
Unfortunately when U Law San was 70, his dear wife passed away.
Fortunately or unfortunately U Law San was still very active both physically & mentally.
Widower U Law San felt very lonely & felt depressed.
After 2 or 3 years of depression, he could not tolerate any more.
He spent most of his time hopping karoke bars.
He got involved with teen-age professional girls & enjoyed to exhaustion.
His sons & daughters were very much worried .
They tried all sorts of multivitamins , hormones & medicines (both western & traditional).
They fed him honey, cow milk & goat milk.
But poor old U Law Son's condition did not improve.
Sons & daughters tried different milk, human milk.
As a last resort ,the children hired a pretty young nanny to feed milk the old man & her own baby.
For a few months the old man became relaxed & seemed to be very happy.
But after an initial improvement the old man became weaker & weaker & finally passed away.
Too much of a good thing may be sometimes hazardous.
Chaung U town folks remarked " U Lawson died of over-feeding of milk when he was over 70 ".

ေခ်ာင္းဦးျမိ ု.သူျမိ ု.သားမ်ားက "ဦးေလာစံ တေယာက္အသက္ (ရ၀)ေက်ာ္မွ နိ ု.မ်က္ေသရွာျပီ " ဟု ေျပာစမွတ္

Q1. Medical term for over-feeding of milk (နိ ု႕ မ်က္ ေရာ ဂါ အဂၤလိပ္လို အေခၚအေဝၚ)

Q2. Is there cases of death of persons over 70 with this disease.
u haven't reply my 2 questions in written form.
Here comes Q3.
Actually I now realize ,the disease in Q2 is caused by over-sucking of milk,consequently less sucking of baby sitter's breast is the cure.
Once upon a time,a physics lecturer was cured by similar thinking.
Poor lecturer in our department suffered from gastric trouble.
He did not go to a doctor ,because he was stingy.
His reasoning was that gastric disease was caused by gastric worms.
He was a physicist & naturally wise like u & me.
He reduced food intake to starve the worms.
Naturally gastric worms died because of starvation & gastric disease was cured!
Poor lecturer was cured of gastric.
I think your lady Royal surgeon should submit this wonderful case history @
International conferences.
ROYAL surgeon Dr daw khin tint might get nobel prize for medicine.
She will become 2nd.nobel winner after Lady DASSK.

ဆႏၵျပသူေတြကို ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ အျပစ္တင္ေနတဲ့ အဲဒီအခ်ိန္ဟာ အစိုးရက သပိတ္စခန္းေတြကို လုံျခဳံေရးတပ္ဖြဲ႔ေတြနဲ႔ ဝိုင္းထားၿပီး ၿဖိဳခြဲဖို႔ အသင့္ျပင္ေနတဲ့အခ်ိန္၊ ၿဖိဳခြဲမယ္လို႔ ေၾကညာထားတဲ့အခ်ိန္လည္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ တကယ္ေတာ့ ဒီလိုအခ်ိန္မ်ဳိးမွာ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာ ဆႏၵျပသူေတြကို ဟန္႔မယ့္အစား ပါးကြက္သားေတြကို ဟန္႔ခဲ့ဖို႔ေကာင္းတယ္။ အစိုးရကို သတိေပး တားျမစ္ခဲ့ဖို႔ေကာင္းတယ္။ ျပည္သူေတြအေပၚ က်ေရာက္မယ့္ အႏၱရာယ္ကို အကာအကြယ္ေပးဖို႔ ေကာင္းတယ္။ အကာအကြယ္ေပးဖို႔ကိုလည္း လူအမ်ားအျပားက ဝိုင္းဝန္းေတာင္းပန္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။ အခုေတာ့ အကာအကြယ္မေပး႐ံုသာမက ဆႏၵျပသူေတြကို ဟန္႔လိုက္တဲ့ သူ႔စကားဟာ အစိုးရကို မီးစိမ္းျပလိုက္သလို ျဖစ္သြားတယ္။ ၿဖိဳခြဲ႐ိုက္ႏွက္ခ်င္တဲ့ အစိုးရအတြက္ အခြင့္သာသြားခဲ့တယ္။



အစိုးရအေနနဲ႔ အစပိုင္းမွာ လက္ပံေတာင္းသံဃာေတြကို ၿဖိဳခြဲႏွိမ္နင္းဖို႔ကို ေတာ္ေတာ္လက္တြန္႔ခဲ့တယ္။ ၂၀၀၇ ခုႏွစ္မွာေလာက္ လက္ရဲ၊ ဇက္ရဲ မရွိလွဘူး။ ဒါကလည္း အေၾကာင္းရွိတယ္။ ၂၀၀၇ ခုႏွစ္တုန္းက စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြဟာ တကိုယ္ေတာ္ ေျပာင္ေျပာင္တင္းတင္း မိုက္ေနတဲ့အခ်ိန္။ ဘယ္သူကမွလည္း သူတို႔ကို ဘာမွ ေပးကမ္းစြန္႔ၾကဲ ေထာက္ပံ့တာမ်ဳိး မလုပ္တဲ့အခ်ိန္။ လူရာမသြင္းတဲ့အခ်ိန္။ အခုအခ်ိန္က်ေတာ့ တမ်ဳိး။ ခုခ်ိန္က သူတို႔မင္းသားေခါင္း ေဆာင္းထားတဲ့အခ်ိန္။ ရင္းႏွီးျမႇဳပ္ႏွံမႈေတြကို သူတို႔ကိုယ္က်ိဳးစီးပြားအတြက္ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ေတာင့္တေနတဲ့ အခ်ိန္။ (ႏိုင္ငံအတြက္လို႔ ေျပာေပမယ့္ တကယ္တမ္းကေတာ့ သူတို႔နဲ႔ သူတို႔ ေဆြမ်ိဳးသားခ်င္း ခ႐ိုနီေတြအတြက္ပါ။ ၉၀ ေက်ာ္ႏွစ္ေတြတုန္းက ရင္းႏွီးျမႇဳပ္ႏွံမႈေတြကို ျပန္ၾကည့္ပါ။) ဒီလို သူတို႔အက်ိဳးစီးပြားအတြက္ စစ္အာဏာရွင္စနစ္ သက္ဆိုးရွည္ေရးအတြက္ စီမံကိန္းခ် ေဆာင္ရြက္ေနတဲ့အခ်ိန္ဆိုေတာ့ မင္းသားေခါင္း ကၽြတ္သြားမွာ စိုးရိမ္တယ္။ ေရရွည္စီမံကိန္းေရးဆြဲထားတာေတြ ပ်က္မွာ စိုးရိမ္တယ္။ ဒါ့ေၾကာင့္ ၿဖိဳသင့္ မၿဖိဳသင့္ ခ်ိန္ဆေနတယ္။ သူတို႔ ၿဖိဳလိုက္ရင္ အေမရိကန္ အမ်က္ထြက္မလား၊ ဥေရာပ စိတ္ပ်က္မလား ဆိုတာ တြက္ခ်က္ေနတယ္။ ဒီလိုအခ်ိန္မ်ဳိးမွာ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဘက္က ဆႏၵျပသူေတြကို အျပစ္တင္စကား ဆိုလိုက္တာဟာ အစိုးရအတြက္ အားတက္စရာ ျဖစ္သြားတယ္။ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ကိုယ္တိုင္က အျပစ္တင္လာရတဲ့အထိ ဆႏၵျပသူေတြဘက္က လြန္ကဲေနလို႔သာ သူတို႔ ၿဖိဳခြင္းလိုက္ပါတယ္လို႔ ဆင္ေျခေပးရင္ အေမရိကန္လည္း ဘာမွမေျပာေတာ့ဘဲ ႏႈတ္ပိတ္ေနလိမ့္မယ္လို႔ ယူဆၿပီး လက္ပံေတာင္းအေရးအခင္းကို မီးေလာင္ဗုံးအသုံးျပဳတဲ့အထိ အလြန္အကၽြံ ၿဖိဳခြဲႏွိမ္နင္းလိုက္တာပါ။



အေမရိကန္ကလည္း သူတို႔ထင္တဲ့အတိုင္း ဒီပြဲမွာ ႏွာေစးတယ္။ စစ္ပြဲမွာေတာင္ အသုံးျပဳခြင့္မရွိတဲ့ မီးေလာင္ဗုံးလို လက္နက္မ်ဳိး အသုံးျပဳၿပီး အျငင္းပြားစရာ တစက္မွမရွိေလာက္ေအာင္ ၿငိမ္းၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းခ်မ္း ဆႏၵျပေနတဲ့ ျပည္သူေတြကို ေခ်မႈန္းခဲ့ေပမယ့္ အေမရိကန္ဆီက ဘာသံမွ မထြက္။ ဆိတ္ဆိတ္ေနခဲ့တယ္။ ရင္းႏွီးျမႇဳပ္ႏွံသူေတြကို အာခံခ်င္တဲ့သူေတြ ခံရတာနည္းေသးတယ္လို႔ မွတ္ယူေနသလား ထင္ရတယ္။

လက္ပံေတာင္းအေရးမွာ သံဃာေတြ မီးေလာင္တိုက္သြင္းခံရတာဟာ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ တာဝန္မကင္းဘူးလို႔ ဆိုခ်င္တယ္။ သူကိုယ္တိုင္ မီးေလာင္တိုက္သြင္းတာ မဟုတ္ေပမယ့္ သူ တားရင္ သံဃာေတြ သက္သာရာရႏိုင္တဲ့ အေျခအေနမွာ အစိုးရဘက္ သူ ပင္းခဲ့လို႔သာ အတင့္ရဲၿပီး ၿဖိဳခြဲခံခဲ့ရတာ။ ျပည္သူဘက္ကေန ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ ျပတ္ျပတ္သားသား မားမားမတ္မတ္ မရပ္ခဲ့လို႔သာ သံဃာေတြအခုလို မတရား မီးေလာင္တိုက္သြင္းခံရတာလို႔ဆိုရင္ မမွားဘူး။ ေဒသခံေတြဘက္က ၾကည့္ရင္ အလြန္ စိတ္ထိခိုက္ ဝမ္းနည္းစရာေကာင္းပါတယ္။

ဒါေတြဟာ ႐ိုး႐ိုးေလးေတြပဲ။ ဘာမွ ထပ္စဥ္းစားေနစရာမလိုေအာင္ ေသခ်ာေနတဲ့ အခ်က္ပဲ။ ဒီေလာက္ ေသခ်ာေနတဲ့ အခ်က္ေတြကို မ်က္ဝါးထင္ထင္ ျမင္ေနရရက္နဲ႔ မစုံစမ္းရေသးခင္မွာ ဘယ္သူ႔ကိုမွ အျပစ္ရွိတယ္လို႔ ေျပာမရဘူးလို႔ ဆိုေနတာဟာ ဘာသေဘာလဲ။ ျပည္သူကို လက္တလုံးျခား လိမ္ညာေနတာလား။ စာအုပ္ထဲမွာ ေျပာထားတဲ့အတိုင္း စစ္ဗိုလ္ႀကီးေတြနဲ႔ ယုံၾကည္မႈတည္ေဆာက္ထားတာကို ပ်က္ျပားသြားမွာကို စိုးရိမ္ေနတာလား။ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ ဘာကို စိုးရိမ္ေနသလဲ။ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ ဘာကို ေၾကာက္ေနသလဲ။

ဒီဇင္ဘာလ ၁၂ ရက္မွာ လက္ပံေတာင္းအေရးနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္ၿပီး လူထုေတြ ဆႏၵျပေတာင္းဆိုေနၾကတဲ့ အခ်ိန္မွာလည္း ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာ မဂၤလာေဆာင္မွာ ပန္းၾကဲမပ်က္ဘူး။ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာ အတိတ္တုန္းကလည္း ဘယ္တုန္းကမွ လူထုဆႏၵျပပြဲေတြကို ေထာက္ခံအားေပး ပါဝင္ခဲ့ဖူးတာမ်ိဳးေတာ့ မရွိဘူး။ ေရွ႕တန္းကလည္း မပါဖူးဘူး။ ေနာက္တန္းကလည္း မပါဖူးဘူး။ အလယ္အလတ္ကလည္း မပါဖူးဘူး။ ဒါေပမယ့္ အရင္တုန္းကေတာ့ လူထုဆႏၵျပပြဲႀကီးေတြျဖစ္တိုင္းမွာ သူက အခ်ဳပ္ခံေနရာတာမ်ားေတာ့ သူသေဘာကို သိပ္မသိခဲ့ရဘူး။ ခုေတာ့ သူ႔သေဘာထားကို ပိုၿပီး ေပၚေပၚထင္ထင္ ေတြ႔ျမင္လာရၿပီလို႔ ဆိုရလိမ့္မယ္။



တကယ္ေတာ့ လူထုေခါင္းေဆာင္တေယာက္က လူထုကို မသိက်ိဳးကၽြံျပဳ လ်စ္လ်ဴရွဳေနတာကို ျမင္ရတာဟာ သိပ္စိတ္ထိခိုက္စရာေကာင္းတယ္။ ႏိုင္ငံရဲ႕ အနာဂတ္အတြက္လည္း မေကာင္းတဲ့ အတိတ္နိမိတ္လို႔ ဆိုရလိမ့္မယ္။ လူထုေခါင္းေဆာင္ဆိုတာ လူထုနဲ႔ တသားတည္း ရွိရတယ္။ လူထုရဲ႕ ခံစားခ်က္ကို အသိအမွတ္ျပဳ ေလးစားရတယ္။ ခုေတာ့ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာ ျပည္သူေတြက မေက်မနပ္ အမ်က္ေဒါသထြက္ၿပီး လမ္းေပၚထြက္ ခ်ီတက္ေနခ်ိန္မွာ အေရးမပါတဲ့ မဂၤလာေဆာင္တခုမွာ ျပဳံးရယ္ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ေနခဲ့တယ္။



တကယ္ေတာ့ လူထုေခါင္းေဆာင္ဆိုတာ လူထုဘက္က ေသနဂၤဗ်ဴဟာ မွားယြင္းၿပီး လမ္းေပၚထြက္ ခ်ီတက္ခဲ့ရင္ေတာင္ လူထုကို အကာအကြယ္ေပးၾကတဲ့ သာဓကေတြ ရွိခဲ့ဖူးတယ္။ လူထုကို အာဏာရွင္ေတြက သတ္ျဖတ္ေတာ့မယ္ဆိုတာ သိထားရက္နဲ႔ေတာင္ လူထုနဲ႔အတူ ခ်ီတက္ အသက္ေပးသြားဖူးသူ ေခါင္းေဆာင္ေတြ ကမၻာ့သမိုင္းမွာ ရွိခဲ့ဖူးတယ္။ ခုေတာ့ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာ လူထုကို ေခါင္းလည္းမေဆာင္ဘူး။ ေနာက္ၿမီးလည္းမဆြဲဘူး။ လူထုဆန္႔က်င္ေရးကို အမူအယာနဲ႔ လုပ္ျပခဲ့တယ္လို႔သာ ယူဆဖြယ္ျဖစ္ခဲ့တယ္။



“ငတ္ေနတဲ့ ျပည္သူေတြက ေတာင္းဆိုတာကို ဟန္႔တယ္၊ ၂၀၁၅ ေၾကာင့္။ ၾကံ႕ဖြတ္အစိုးရ ႏွိပ္စက္တာေတြကို အကာအကြယ္ေပးတယ္၊ ၂၀၁၅ ေၾကာင့္။ စစ္ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ႀကီးေတြကို ခ်စ္ျပရတယ္၊ ၂၀၁၅ ေၾကာင့္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ေနာက္ဆုံး ၂၀၁၅ ေရာက္တဲ့အခါ ေနာက္ထပ္ သင္ခန္းစာတခု တိုးလာတာပဲ အဖတ္တင္တယ္ ဆိုတာမ်ိဳး ေနာင္တမရေစခ်င္ပါဘူး။ ၂၀၂၀ ကို ဆက္ေစာင့္တာေပါ့ေလ။ ၂၀၂၅ ကို ေစာင့္ၾကတာေပါ့ေလ။ မေသမခ်င္း ေစာင့္ၾကည့္ၾကေသးတာေပါ့ေလ ဆိုတဲ့ ဘဝမ်ဳိးကိုလည္း မေရာက္ၾကေစခ်င္ပါဘူး။”

သူ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ေနတာဟာ ၂၀၁၅ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲပါ။ သူ ေၾကာက္ေနတာဟာ ၂၀၁၅ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲ ပ်က္သြားမယ့္အေရးပါ။

သူဟာ ၂၀၁၅ ကို ရည္မွန္းခ်က္ထားျပီး က်န္တာအားလုံးကို အေလွ်ာ့ေပးေနတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ၂၀၁၅ ပ်က္မွာ ေၾကာက္လို႔ က်န္တဲ့ မတရားမႈ ၊ ရက္စက္မႈေတြကို မေျပာရဲ မဆိုရဲ ျဖစ္ေနတာပါပဲ။ ဒါကိုပဲ ေရရွည္အက်ဳိးစီးပြားလို႔ သူ တြက္ထားပုံရပါတယ္။ ဒါကိုပဲ အမ်ိဳးသားျပန္လည္သင့္ျမတ္ေရးလို႔ သူက အဓိပၸာယ္ဖြင့္ေနပုံရတယ္။ အခု ကခ်င္ျပည္နယ္မွာ ထိုးစစ္ေတြ အျပင္းအထန္ ဆင္ႏႊဲေနတယ္။ ဒါကိုလည္း ထုံးစံအတိုင္း ႏွာေစးျပန္တယ္။ ၂၀၁၅ ကို ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ခ်က္ထားၿပီး အေလွ်ာ့ေပးေနျပန္တယ္။

၂၀၁၅ မွာ သူဘာကို ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ထားသလဲ။ အိႏၵိယေရာက္တုန္းက ေျပာခဲ့တဲ့ စကားထဲမွာ ၂၀၀၈ အေျခခံဥပေဒထဲက သမၼတေရြးေကာက္ပုံနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္တဲ့ အခ်က္ကို ေဝဖန္သြားတာ ေတြ႔လိုက္ရတယ္။ ၂၀၀၈ အေျခခံဥပေဒမွာ ဒီေလာက္ မတရားမႈေတြ တပုံတပင္ ရွိပါလ်က္နဲ႔ သမၼတေရြးေကာက္ပုံကို ကြက္ေဝဖန္ပုံေထာက္ရင္ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ သမၼတျဖစ္ခ်င္ေနၿပီလို႔ ခန္႔မွန္းမိပါတယ္။ နတ္ေမာက္ၿမိဳ႕မွာ လူထုကို စကားေျပာတုန္းကလည္း က်မတို႔ အာဏာလိုခ်င္တယ္လို႔ ေျပာခဲ့တယ္။



ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္အေနနဲ႔ ၂၀၁၅ မွာ သန္႔သန္႔ရွင္းရွင္း လြတ္လြတ္လပ္လပ္ မဲေပးေရြးခ်ယ္ခြင့္ရရင္ သူ႔ပါတီ မဲအမ်ားဆုံး ရမယ္ဆိုတာ သိထားတယ္။ ဒါ့ေၾကာင့္ ၂၀၁၅ ကို သူ အေမွ်ာ္ႀကီး ေမွ်ာ္ေနတာပဲ။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ မသိတဲ့ နားမလည္တဲ့အခ်က္က စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြဟာ သူ႔လက္ထဲကို ဘယ္ေတာ့မွ အာဏာ အေရာက္မခံဘူးဆိုတဲ့ အခ်က္ပဲ။

ဒါဟာ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ရဲ႕ အဓိက အားနည္းခ်က္ပါပဲ။ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာ ႏိုင္ငံျခားမွာ ႀကီးျပင္းလာတဲ့အတြက္ ဗမာျပည္ စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြရဲ႕ သေဘာသဘာဝကို သေဘာမေပါက္ဘူး။ ဗမာ့ႏိုင္ငံေရးကို အေနာက္တိုင္း ပါလီမန္ဒီမိုကေရစီ အေတြးအေခၚနဲ႔ ခ်ဥ္းကပ္တယ္။ ဗမာျပည္ စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြဟာ အာဏာကို မေသမခ်င္း ဖက္တြယ္သြားမယ္ဆိုတဲ့ သေဘာသဘာဝကို စိုးစဥ္းမွ် မရိပ္မိဘူး။ အဲသလို သူမရိပ္မိတဲ့ ဒဏ္ကို ျပည္သူေတြက လက္ေတြ႔ခံရမယ့္ အေျခအေနေတြ ျဖစ္လာတယ္။



သူက က်မေဖေဖ တည္ေထာင္ခဲ့တဲ့ တပ္မေတာ္လို႔ပဲ တြင္တြင္ေျပာေနတယ္။ စစ္ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ႀကီးေတြကို ခ်စ္ပါတယ္ေတာင္ လုပ္လိုက္ေသးတယ္။ တပ္မေတာ္ကို သူ႔စိတ္ထဲက ခ်စ္ေနတာကိုေတာ့ အျပစ္ေျပာလို႔ မရဘူးလို႔ေတာင္ ဆိုလိုက္ပါေသးတယ္။

အျပစ္မဲ့ ျပည္သူေတြကို စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြ၊ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ လက္မရြံ႕ ပါးကြက္သားေတြက သတ္ခဲ့ျဖတ္ခဲ့တာေတြကို သူ ခ်စ္ေနတာေတာ့ မဟုတ္ေလာက္ဘူး။

တကယ္ေတာ့ ဒီစကားေတြဟာ စစ္တပ္နဲ႔ စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြကို ဖားေနတာသာ ျဖစ္ဖို႔ရွိတယ္။ သြယ္ဝိုက္ေစ့စပ္ေနတာပါ။ ခပ္႐ိုင္း႐ိုင္း ေျပာရရင္ စစ္ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ေတြကို မိန္းမေနာက္ပိုးလုပ္ေနတာပါ။ စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြကို သူေခ်ာ့ရင္ ေပ်ာ့မယ္လို႔ပဲ ထင္ေနတာပါ။



စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြဆီက အာဏာကို ၾကားျဖတ္ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲ အႏိုင္ရသလို လြယ္လြယ္နဲ႔ ရမယ္လို႔ ထင္တာဟာ စိတ္ကူးယဥ္တာ၊ ႏိုင္ငံေရးေအာက္သက္မေက်တာကို ျပပါတယ္။



စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြဟာ ၂၀၁၅ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲကို ညစ္ကို ညစ္မွာပါ။ ၂၀၁၅ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲမတိုင္ခင္မွာေတာင္ ႀကိဳတင္ၿပီး ညစ္ခ်င္ညစ္ပါမယ္။ ဥပမာအားျဖင့္ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲစနစ္ကို ျပင္ၿပီး ႀကိဳညစ္တာမ်ဳိး လုပ္ခ်င္လုပ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲမွာ ညစ္မွာပါ။ ဒီခ်ဳပ္ကို လႊတ္ေတာ္ထဲမွာ ေနရာတခ်ဳိ႕ ေပးပါလိမ့္မယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ အစိုးရဖြဲ႔ခြင့္ ေပးမွာမဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ သမၼတ မျဖစ္ႏိုင္ပါဘူး။ ျဖစ္ခြင့္မေပးပါဘူး။ အေျခခံဥပေဒကို ျပင္မေပးပါဘူး။ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္သာ မဟုတ္၊ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ရဲ႕ ပါတီထဲက တေယာက္ေယာက္ကိုလည္း အစိုးရဖြဲ႔ခြင့္၊ သမၼတျဖစ္ခြင့္ မေပးပါဘူး။ ဒီခ်ဳပ္ပါတီတြင္မဟုတ္၊ ၾကံ႕ဖြံ႔မဟုတ္တဲ့ ဘယ္ပါတီကိုမွလည္း အစိုးရဖြဲ႔ခြင့္၊ သမၼတျဖစ္ခြင့္ မေပးပါဘူး။ အဲသလို မျဖစ္ေအာင္ နည္းမ်ဳိးစုံ သုံးၿပီး ညစ္ဦးမွာပါ။ အဘက္ဘက္က တားဆီးတဲ့ၾကားထဲက ျဖစ္ခဲ့ရင္ အာဏာေတာင္ သိမ္းပါလိမ့္မယ္။



စဥ္းစားၾကည့္ပါ။ တျခားပါတီတခုခုက သမၼတျဖစ္ၿပီး အစိုးရဖြဲ႔ခြင့္ရရင္ ဘာေတြျဖစ္သြားမလဲ။ သူတို႔ ဖုံးထားသမွ်ေတြ ေပၚကုန္မွာပဲ။ သူတို႔လုပ္ထားတဲ့ ႏ်ဴကလီးယားစီမံကိန္းဆိုတာေတြ လူသိကုန္မယ္။ ဦးပိုင္ကုမၸဏီ လုပ္ထားတာေတြ လူသိကုန္မယ္။ ျမန္မာ့စီးပြားေရးေကာ္ပိုေရးရွင္း လုပ္ထားတာေတြ လူသိကုန္မယ္။ တိုင္းရင္းသားေတြ အေပၚက်ဴးလြန္ထားတဲ့ ျပစ္မႈေတြ လူသိကုန္မယ္။ ၁၉၈၈ မွာ က်ဴးလြန္ထားတာေတြ၊ ၂၀၀၇ မွာ က်ဴးလြန္ထားတာေတြ လူသိကုန္မယ္။ ႏိုင္ငံပိုင္ ဓာတ္ေငြ႔ေတြ၊ ေရနံေတြ၊ သတၱဳေတြ၊ သစ္ေတာေတြ အားလုံး ခိုးဝွက္ထားတာေတြ လူသိကုန္မယ္။ ဒါမ်ဳိးကို သူတို႔ အျဖစ္မခံပါဘူး။ ဒီလိုအေျခအေနမ်ဳိးသာ မလြဲမေရွာင္သာ ရင္ဆိုင္ရမယ္ဆိုရင္ ဘီလူးေခါင္းျပန္ေဖာ္ဖို႔လည္း ဝန္ေလးမွာ မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ ဒါဟာ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ ဘဝေပးအေျခအေနပါ။ အကုသိုလ္နဲ႔ အေၾကာင္းယွက္ ေပါင္းဖက္ထားတဲ့ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ ဘဝေပး အေျခအေနေတြပါ။

ဒါေတြကို ေမ့ထားၿပီး စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြဟာ အမွန္တကယ္ ျပဳျပင္ေျပာင္းလဲမႈ လုပ္လာလိမ့္မယ္၊ ေနာင္တရလာလိမ့္မယ္၊ အျမင္မွန္ရလာလိမ့္မယ္လို႔ ေတြးတာဟာ စစ္အာဏာရွင္ေတြရဲ႕အေၾကာင္းကို ေကာင္းေကာင္း နားမလည္လို႔ စိတ္ကူးယဥ္ေနတာသာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ႏိုင္ငံေရးဆိုတာ စိတ္ေကာင္းရွိတာ မရွိတာ၊ ေၾကာက္တာ မေၾကာက္တာ စတဲ့ လူ႔ရဲ႕ စိတ္ခံစားခ်က္ေတြအေပၚမွာ တည္မွီေျပာင္းလဲႏိုင္တယ္လို႔ ထင္ေနတဲ့ စိတ္ကူးယဥ္ေမွ်ာ္မွန္းခ်က္ေတြပါ။

ဘာမွ ျဖစ္မလာမယ့္ ၂၀၁၅ ႀကီးကို ေမွ်ာ္မွန္းၿပီး အစိုးရဘက္က ကာဆီးကာဆီး လုပ္ေနတာဟာ ဒီမိုကေရစီသမားေတြရဲ႕ ညီညြတ္ေရးကို ပ်က္စီးေစပါတယ္။ ယုံၾကည္မႈေတြ ပ်က္ျပားေစပါတယ္။



ငတ္ေနတဲ့ ျပည္သူေတြက ေတာင္းဆိုတာကို ဟန္႔တယ္၊ ၂၀၁၅ ေၾကာင့္။ ၾကံ႕ဖြတ္အစိုးရ ႏွိပ္စက္တာေတြကို အကာအကြယ္ေပးတယ္၊ ၂၀၁၅ ေၾကာင့္။ စစ္ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ႀကီးေတြကို ခ်စ္ျပရတယ္၊ ၂၀၁၅ ေၾကာင့္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ေနာက္ဆုံး ၂၀၁၅ ေရာက္တဲ့အခါ ေနာက္ထပ္ သင္ခန္းစာတခု တိုးလာတာပဲ အဖတ္တင္တယ္ ဆိုတာမ်ိဳး ေနာင္တမရေစခ်င္ပါဘူး။ ၂၀၂၀ ကို ဆက္ေစာင့္တာေပါ့ေလ။ ၂၀၂၅ ကို ေစာင့္ၾကတာေပါ့ေလ။ မေသမခ်င္း ေစာင့္ၾကည့္ၾကေသးတာေပါ့ေလ ဆိုတဲ့ ဘဝမ်ဳိးကိုလည္း မေရာက္ၾကေစခ်င္ပါဘူး။



ခုဆိုရင္ ျပည္သူေတြကို ႏွိပ္စက္ခ်င္ေစာ္ကားခ်င္တဲ့သူမွန္သမွ်ဟာ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ကို ဒိုင္းသဖြယ္ကာၿပီး ျပည္သူကို ထိုးႏွက္ေခ်မႈန္းေနပါၿပီ။ (ကာတြန္းဟန္ေလးရဲ႕ ကာတြန္းဟာ အဲဒီသ႐ုပ္ကို သိပ္ေပၚလြင္ေစပါတယ္။) ဦးသိန္းစိန္ကလည္း ဒီနည္းကို သုံးပါတယ္။ ဗဟုေတြကလည္း ဒီနည္းကိုပဲ သုံးပါတယ္။ တင္-စူး-ေက်ာ္ လက္ဝဲပ်က္ေတြကလည္း ဒီနည္းမ်ဳိး သုံးလာတာကို ေက်ာ္ဝင္းရဲ႕ ေနာက္ဆုံး မေဗဒါ ေဆာင္းပါးမွာ ေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။



ဦးသိန္းစိန္ဟာ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ကို ၂၀၁၅ နဲ႔ မွ်ားၿပီး ေသြးေဆာင္ၿပီး ႀကိဳက္သလို ခိုင္းစားေနပါတယ္။ လႊတ္ေတာ္ကိုယ္စားလွယ္ ဆိုတာဟာလည္း အေရးပါတာ ဘာတခုမွလုပ္လို႔မရ၊ ဟန္ေဆာင္၊ ဟန္ျပပါပဲ။ လႊတ္ေတာ္ထဲေရာက္ေတာ့မွ ဟိုဟာ မေျပာရ၊ ဒီဟာ မေျပာရ၊ ပိုၿပီးေတာင္ ေခ်ာက္က်သြားပါတယ္။ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာ အိမ္ခ်ဳပ္က လြတ္ၿပီးေနာက္ လႊတ္ေတာ္ခ်ဳပ္က်သလို ျဖစ္သြားပါတယ္။ စိုးမိုးေအးခ်မ္းေကာ္မတီဆိုတာလည္း ဘာမွ လုပ္မရ၊ ကိုင္မရ။ အစိုးရရဲ႕ အသုံးခ်စရာမွ်သာပါပဲ။ အခုတခါ လက္ပံေတာင္းအေရး စုံစမ္းစစ္ေဆးေရးေကာ္မရွင္တဲ့။ ဒီေကာ္မရွင္ဟာလည္း ခုထိ ၾကည့္ရသမွ် အလားအလာ တယ္မေကာင္းလွဘူးလို႔သာ ဆိုရေတာ့မွာပါ။



ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္အေနနဲ႔ ကိုယ့္လူသူ႔ဘက္သားပုံစံနဲ႔ ၾကာၾကာရပ္တည္လို႔ မရေတာ့ပါဘူး။ ေလွနံႏွစ္ဘက္နင္း မျမဝင္း ဆက္လုပ္ေနလို႔ မရေတာ့ပါဘူး။ သမိုင္းနာပါတယ္။ ျပည္သူနာပါတယ္။



လြတ္လပ္ေရးတိုက္ပြဲေခတ္ ဗမာ့ႏိုင္ငံေရးေလာကမွာ ေတာ္ေတာ္မ်ားမ်ား ေတြ႔ရတတ္တဲ့ အမွားတမ်ဳိး ရွိတယ္။ အဲဒီအမွားကေတာ့ လက္ေတြ႔ မ်က္စိေရွ႕မွာ ျမင္ေတြ႔ေနရတာထက္ စာအုပ္ထဲက ေျပာထားတာကို ပိုယုံၾကည္တတ္တဲ့ အမွား၊ သီအိုရီကို ပိုယုံၾကည္တတ္တဲ့ အမွားပဲ။ လူထုကိုယ္တိုင္ ၾကံဳတြ႔ခံစားေနရတာေတြကို မ်က္ဝါးထင္ထင္ ျမင္ေတြ႔ေနပါရက္ကယ္နဲ႔ ျမင္ေနေတြ႔ေနတာကို ျမင္တဲ့ေတြ႔တဲ့အတုိင္း မသုံးသပ္ႏိုင္ဘဲ လူကို စာအုပ္ႀကီးနဲ႔ တိုက္ၾကည့္ၿပီး စာအုပ္ႀကီးနဲ႔ မကိုက္ရင္ လူေတြကပဲ မွားေနသလိုလို ထင္တတ္တဲ့အက်င့္ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။



ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာလည္း အလားတူပဲ၊ ဗမာ့ႏိုင္ငံေရးကို သီအုိရီနဲ႔ တိုက္ၾကည့္ေနပါတယ္။ လူေတြ မခ်ိမဆန္႔ ခံစားေနရတာကို ျမင္ေနပါရက္ကယ္နဲ႔ လက္ေတြ႔အျမင္နဲ႔ မသုံးသပ္ဘဲ သူခ်မွတ္ထားတဲ့ စစ္ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ႀကီးေတြနဲ႔ သင့္ျမတ္ေျပလည္မွ ဒီမိုကေရစီရမယ္ဆိုတဲ့ စာအုပ္ႀကီးနဲ႔ တုိက္ၾကည့္ သုံးသပ္ေနပါတယ္။ သူ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ထားတဲ့ ၂၀၁၅ အေတြးအေခၚနဲ႔ သုံးသပ္ေနပါတယ္။

ဒီေန႔ေခတ္မွာလည္း ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ အပါအဝင္ ႏိုင္ငံေရးသမားႀကီးငယ္ဟာ ႏိုင္ငံေရးကို သီအိုရီနဲ႔ခ်ည္း တိုက္တိုက္ၾကည့္မေနဘဲ လက္ေတြ႔ျပည္သူေတြ ခံစားေနရတာေတြကို ၾကည့္ၿပီး သုံးသပ္ေဆာင္ရြက္သင့္ပါတယ္။ သံဃာေတြ မီးေလာင္ေနတာ ေတြ႔ပါရက္နဲ႔ ၂၀၁၅ ကို မက္ၿပီး မေျပာရဲ မဆိုရဲရင္ က်ေနာ္တို႔တုိင္းျပည္ရဲ႕ အမ်ဳိးသားညီညြတ္ေရးဟာ ေဝးသထက္ေဝးလိမ့္မယ္လို႔သာ ထင္ျမင္မိပါတယ္။

Aung San Suu Kyi has completed her US tour, returning to Rangoon on Thursday night. Last week I had the privilege of flying to the Washington to see her during her stop there. It was a great honor to greet her again in person. It was 23 years since we had last seen each other.
On Aug. 26, 1988, I marched together with my fellow high school students to the Shwedagon Pagoda in Rangoon to listen to the historic speech Aung San Suu Kyi gave in front of an audience that may have numbered up to a million people. My eldest brother, a student activist who had been arrested for his political work on campus and had been released just a few weeks earlier, was helping to keep the crowd in order around the rostrum. I ended up out there somewhere in the middle, as the never-ending applause and the chanting of political slogans washed over me. At times I even heard her voice, but most of the time it was hard to make her out over the cheers: “Long live Daw Aung San Suu Kyi!”
My father was a former student activist who had opposed military dictatorship since the late 1950s. That evening I heard him say: “We’ve found our true leader.” Tears welled up in his eyes. It amazed me.
When I met her in person for the first time in the wake of the 1988 military coup, I immediately realized that my father was right. She struck me as a towering figure, an inspirational leader.
My respect for the Lady since then has never diminished. But I will never allow my love and admiration for her to hold me back from speaking my mind. I believe strongly that I always have the right to scrutinize the arguments of the people with whom I share a common moral universe. I will never allow my respect for this hero to serve as an excuse for surrendering my critical faculties.
My long-awaited encounter with the Lady last week was no exception. During a dinner event in honor of Suu Kyi in Washington, I saw how my American friends were riveted by her speech. They were amazed to see her give her talk in impeccable English, without teleprompter or notes.
Yet I found the substance of her speech disappointing. She spent most of the time telling her audience about the work being done by her political party, the National League for Democracy, in the communities where it’s active. But she didn’t have a single word to spare for the fate of some 70,000 ethnic Kachin people fleeing the war between Burmese army and Kachin rebels. The war has been going on since last year, when the government broke a 17-year ceasefire and launched an attack on the rebels. The Kachin refugees are living in overcrowded camps, enduring heavy monsoon rains without food, drinking water, and medicine. Both the Burmese and Chinese governments are exacerbating the situation by blocking the delivery of aid to the refugees. To make matters worse, Beijing has also forced thousands of refugees who tried to escape the fighting by crossing the border into its territory back into the war zone.
Aung San Suu Kyi’s silence about all this is alarming. Apparently I’m not the only one who thinks so. Last week a group of 23 Kachin ethnic organizations issued an open letter to the Lady challenging her position and inviting her to visit the refugees in Kachin State. “You will be able to hear directly from the victims about the human rights abuses that have been committed against them,” the authors of the letter wrote. “You will see for yourself the suffering caused by the Burmese government’s refusal to allow humanitarian aid into these areas.”
The Kachin activists point out that no one is in a better position than Daw Suu to publicize their dire situation. “You are now able to travel all over the world and speak openly to large audiences,” they write. “We have trust in you that you will recognize the urgency and importance of this request and not refuse the invitation.”
Acknowledging the criticism, the Lady rationalized her silence in one of her public events in New York. She argues that taking sides in the war will make it worse, and warns the members of the Burmese exile community to focus on reconciliation rather than dwelling on what divides us. Instead of ascribing blame, she called on the people to examine the root causes of the conflict and to address them.
This all sounds very reasonable, of course. But, in reality, it’s a position that falls far short of the high standards we’ve come to expect from Aung San Suu Kyi. To see someone of her stature treating the oppressor and the oppressed as morally equivalent is depressing. Let’s be clear about it: In this situation, the oppressed are the Kachins.
Let’s start with a well-known fact: Burma is a multi-ethnic country. Under the pre-colonial Burman kingdoms as well as during British colonial rule, all of the main ethnic groups enjoyed a high degree of autonomy. After independence in 1948, the Burman armed forces of the new Burmese state entered the ethnic regions, militarized the government, and plundered the country’s natural resources, much of which is located in the minority regions. The central government has tried to forcibly assimilate the local populations while committing heinous human rights violations (including large-scale murder, rape, and forced relocations, all well documented). So you just can’t claim that there are “two sides” to these conflicts that are equally worthy of consideration. The ethnic groups’ struggle for political autonomy and self-determination is a justified reaction to domination and repression by the Burman majority. Burmans (a group that includes Aung San Suu Kyi and the present author) should be able to understand this.
So it’s puzzling that Aung San Suu Kyi would choose to stress the virtues of neutrality. I should be clear about something else: respecting the cause of the ethnic minorities doesn’t mean that you have to be silent about human rights violations committed by the ethnic armed forces. You don’t have to agree with all of the minority groups’ demands. Finding a way out of post-conflict situations is always messy, and always dictated by practical matters of history and economics as much as by abstract principle. Reconciliation always involves negotiations and political trade-offs. All the ethnic groups involved in Burma’s civil war agree with the need to find pragmatic solutions. It’s important to note, by the way, that none of the main minority groups is now calling for secession.
What we don’t need here, of course, is a moral recklessness that ultimately provokes further conflict. What we do need is that quality of moral sensitivity and courage that can “lend a voice to suffering” because it “is a condition of all truth,” as Theodor Adorno once wrote. If Aung San Suu Ky fails to find her voice on this issue, she runs the risk of creating even greater resentment among the underdogs.
Yes, it’s true. Burma’s transition is very fragile, and we have to be careful how we move forward. The democratic opposition has already made many compromises, and it will have to make many more. That is entirely logical, and to some extent it is justified by the current political situation (one in which the regime is far stronger and more ruthless). But what the pro-democracy movement cannot do in this situation is to surrender its core values. It cannot give up the principles for which it has fought for so long and which continue to define it. Otherwise it runs the risk of giving up its own reason for being.
Suu Kyi has said she will strongly condemn human rights violations and any efforts to derail the reconciliation process in Burma. But she has yet to take a clear stand on the abuses that are still being committed in the Kachin conflict as I write this. Let’s hope she can find it in her heart to change.

They are not genuine. OIC have invisible & enormous supports from the very rich and high risk Muslim nations with hidden purposes. They knew that our current government is not clever enough to deal with the outside world by any mean.

No countries will allow OIC & its Sharia Law on their land in the world, but OIC will try with its utmost efforts with different approaches in Burma. HE can not blame anybody else.
Nobel committee should consider this issue very very seriously before conferring HIM this prestigious prize.
If he were conferred nobel prize for peace, the image of this committee will be very much tarnished.

In my opinion I think she has not done anything yet for the country needless to say for ethnic people groups and their states but she has been given hundreds of award and put on top of the world as world leader. Isn't it too much and too soon? Some people said "don't judge her. Give her more time". Well it sounds reasonable. But while some crazy people and crazy world don't wait and see her but bowdown and worship her like a goddess and honor her like a savior before she has done and achieved anything in Burma political situation. I am not critizing her. I am just doing analysis by myself. What do you think?

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egypt's new second-in-command of the military has said that U.S. troops should be withdrawn from the Middle East while any democratization in the region should come from within and have religious legitimacy, according to a paper he wrote in 2005.

Though published before U.S. President Barack Obama was elected, the document written while newly appointed Chief of Staff Sidki Sobhi was studying in the United States offers a rare insight into the thinking of a top officer in the traditionally opaque Egyptian army.

The generals, who for decades stayed in the shadows, were thrust to the fore when Hosni Mubarak, himself a former air force commander, was toppled in an uprising last year and the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces took charge.

An Islamist president, Mohamed Mursi, came to office in June and stamped his authority over the military this week by retiring the country's two top generals and taking back vital powers they had earlier retained for themselves.

Though generals held news conference and gave interviews when in charge, they gave little away in public about their thoughts on broader policy beyond the transition, such as the crucial relationship with the United States, which gives Egypt $1.3 billion in military aid a year and trains many officers.

"I recommend that the permanent withdrawal of the United States military forces from the Middle East and the Gulf should be a goal of the U.S. strategy in this region," wrote Sobhi, then a brigadier general studying for a Master of Strategic Studies Degree at the U.S. War College.

He added in his concluding remarks to the 10,600-word thesis "that the United States should pursue its strategic goals in the region through socioeconomic means and the impartial application of international law", in a reference to what he had earlier described as Washington's "one-sided" relationship with Israel.

He said the presence of U.S. troops in the region had been used as a justification for armed struggle by radical Islamists.

Though many in the Middle East object to U.S. soldiers being posted there, it is unusual to hear the view aired so clearly by a senior figure in the army of Egypt, a staunch U.S. ally.

Sobhi, 56, was appointed chief of staff, the military's second most senior post, in the surprise shake-up announced on Sunday by Mursi, whose Muslim Brotherhood group was routinely hounded and jailed in the past six decades by Mubarak and other presidents who all hailed from the military.

The army's top officer, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, who served as Mubarak's defense minister for 20 years and led the military council, was forced into retirement, replaced by General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the former head of intelligence.

Sobhi said there was "a fundamental lack of understanding and communication" between foreign policy makers from U.S. administrations and governments in the region, writing before Obama sought to shift U.S. policy by reaching out to the Arab and Muslim world with a pivotal speech in Cairo in 2009.

The general said one reason was U.S. policy makers worked in a strictly secular democratic system but: "The Islamic religion is strongly interlinked to various degrees with the functioning of most Arab governments and their respective societies."

The process of democratization "must have and project political, social, cultural, and religious legitimacy. In other words, this democratization process must be of and viewed as having a purely domestic origin," he wrote, highlighting in italics the words "religious", "viewed" and "purely domestic".

He said Washington should turn its focus to a "new Marshall Plan", mirroring the huge package of aid that helped Europe rebuild after World War Two, to regain its influence.

Sobhi's thesis was posted on a U.S. Department of Defense website, and was initially highlighted by blogger and analyst Issandr El Amrani.

The dramatic army changes followed a military blunder on August 5 on the Sinai border with Israel when 16 border guards were killed by militants, giving Mursi an opening to act amid public anger and - some more junior officers said - grumbles among some military ranks over the army leadership.

RELIGIOUS ALLEGIANCE?

The generals have shown no sign of challenging Mursi's decision. Tantawi and former Chief of Staff Sami Enan were both warmly greeted and awarded medals by the president in a ceremony shown on state television on Tuesday.

One Western diplomat and other observers have suggested the new commanders may have Islamist sympathies or hold conservative values that may appeal to the Brotherhood. But others played down such talk, including Robert Springborg, a professor at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in California.

Writing in Foreign Policy, he said the main reason for removing Tantawi "was not Islamist commitment, but accumulated dissatisfaction with the field marshal's debasement of their institution and its capacities, triggered by his inept political maneuvering".

The Western diplomat said some discontent may have prompted the change, including from U.S.-trained officers imbued with the idea that the army should stay outside politics.

Sisi's intelligence background, suggesting a deep knowledge of army personnel, could have made him an attractive ally for Mursi, the diplomat said. "He is the best person to have on your side. You promoted him, you own him," he said.

Washington has urged the new commanders and the civilian authorities to work together on Egypt's democratic transition.

"These new appointees, the new leaders of the military are all people that we have worked with before and many of whom have trained here in the United States as well," said U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland.

Among the other promotions was General Mohamed el-Assar who was appointed deputy defense minister. He has been in charge of relations with the United States, one reason that may have helped his promotion as well as the fact that he spoke out early after Mubarak's ousting against the former president.

စင္စစ္အားျဖင့္မူ စစ္အာဏာရွင္စနစ္တစံုလံုးကို ဖြဲ ့စည္းပံုအေျခခံဥပေဒထဲမွာ ထည့္သြင္းျပဌာန္းျပီး အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေနျခင္း ျဖစ္သည္။ ဤသည္ကို ေ၀ဘန္ေထာက္ ျပမွဳမ်ား၊ သံုးသပ္ေဆြးေႏြးမွဳမ်ား အားေပ်ာ့ေနခ်ိန္တြင္ နိုင္ငံအုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေရးမွာ စစ္တပ္မပါ၀င္ေတာ့ ေၾကာင္း ေျဗာင္လိမ္သည့္ ဦးသိန္းစိန္၏ ေျပာၾကားခ်က္ ထြက္လာျခင္းမွာ တိုင္းျပည္အနာဂါတ္ အတြက္ ရင္ေလးဘြယ္ ျဖစ္သည္။ အမွန္တရားသည္ တစတစျဖင့္ ဖံုးကြယ္ခံရေတာ့မည္ေလာ။

ေတာင္အာဖရိက သမိုင္းအေတြ ့အၾကံဳတြင္ လူျဖဴလူမဲ ခြဲျခားအုပ္ခ်ဳပ္သည့္စနစ္ဆိုးကို မီးေမာင္းထုိး ဆန္ ့က်င္ကာ ျပည္တြင္း ျပည္ပ လူထုလွဳပ္ရွားမွဳမ်ားက်ယ္က်ယ္ျပန္ ့ျပန္ ့ဆင္ႏႊဲျပီး တိုက္ပြဲ၀င္ခဲ့ရသည္။ အက်ိဳးဆက္အေနျဖင့္ လူျဖဴ လူမဲ ခြဲျခား အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္သည့္ စနစ္ဆိုးကို အသက္သြင္းထားေသာ ၁၉၈၃ ခုနွစ္ ဖြဲ ့စည္းပံုအေျခခံမွာ တရားမ၀င္ ပ်က္ျပယ္ ေၾကာင္းျဖင့္ ကုလ သမဂၢလံုျခံဳေရး ေကာင္စီက ဆံုးျဖတ္ခ်က္ အမွတ္ ၅၅၄ ျဖင့္ ၁၉၈၉ ခုနွစ္ ၾသဂုတ္လ ၁၄ ရက္ေန ့ တြင္ ေအာက္ပါ အတိုင္းဆံုးျဖတ္ခ်က္ ခ်ခဲ့သည္။



1. Declares that the so-called "new constitution" is contrary to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations, that the results of the referendum of 2 November 1983 are of no validity whatsoever and that the enforcement of the "new constitution" will further aggravate the already explosive situation prevailing inside apartheid South Africa;

2. Strongly rejects and declares as null and void the so-called "new constitution" and the "elections" to be organized later in August 1984 for the "coloured" people and people of Asian origin as well as all insidious manoeuvres by the racist minority regime of South Africa to further entrench white minority rule and apartheid;

ယခု ဦးသိန္းစိန္သည္ ဒီကလပ္လမ္းေၾကာင္းနွင့္ ေျပာင္းျပန္ေလွ်ာက္လွမ္းလွ်က္ရွိေနျပီ။ ၁၉၆၂ ခုနွစ္မွ စတင္ကာ စစ္တပ္က ဦးေဆာင္၍ စစ္အာဏာရွင္ စနစ္ဆိုးၾကီးကို ေဖၚေဆာင္အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္လွ်က္ ရွိေၾကာင္း ရွင္းပါလွ်က္ အမွန္ကို ၀န္ခံသည့္ အရိပ္အေယာင္ စိုးစဥ္းမွ် မျပ။ အမွန္ကို ၀န္မခံသည့္အျပင္ မမွန္မွန္းအၾကြင္းမဲ့ သိထားပါလွ်က္ မမွန္ကို အမွန္ဟူ၍ တကမာၻလံုးၾကားေအာင္ ေအာ္လွ်က္ရွိေနျပီ။ ရိုးသားမွဳရွိပံုမေပၚ။ အသြင္သ႑ာန္အားျဖင့္ ျပဳျပင္ေျပာင္း လဲေရးကို လိုလား သေယာင္ျပထားေသာ္လည္း စစ္အာဏာရွင္ စနစ္ဆိုးကို ကတၱီပါ ဖံုးထားသည့္ သံလက္စြပ္ျဖင့္ ကာကြယ္သြားမည့္ သူသာ ျဖစ္ေနသည္။ ဦးသိန္းစိန္ကို ဆက္ျပီး ေျမွာက္ေပး၊ ပင့္ေပး၊ တြန္းေပးလွ်င္ ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံ ဒီမိုကေရစီေရး အေျပာင္း အလဲ ျဖစ္သြားနိုင္သည္ဟူေသာ ေျမွာ္လင့္ခ်က္မွာ ေရေပၚတြင္ အရုပ္ေရးသလိုသာ ရွိေနသည္။

ကၽြန္မတို႕အိမ္းတြင္းလံုး သူတို႕ အကြက္ရိုက္ျပီး ေစ်းတြက္တြက္သြားျပီ။ မိသားစုအတြက္ ေျခခ်စရာ ေနရာမရွိေတာ႕ဘူး။ တျခံလံုးကို တူးဆြ၊ ျပီး ေျမေပၚ ေျမေအာက္ရွိသမွ် သယ္ မ သြားျပီ။

ဒီအေၾကာင္းေတြကို ကမၻာက သိသြားလို႕ ဒီေန႕ဘဲ Human Rights Watch က အစီရင္ခံစာ အသစ္စက္စက္ ထုတ္ေ၀လိုက္တယ္။ မသိဘူး ဆိုတာ မရွိရေလေအာင္ သမၼတၾကီးရဲ႕ လုပ္ေဖာ္ကိုင္ဖက္မ်ားကိုလည္း လက္တို႕ျပီး ဖတ္ခိုင္းလိုက္ပါအံုး။

most of the students singing the national anthem ”ကမၻာ မေက်၊ ဗမာေျပ၊ ဒါ ဒို႕ေျပ ဒါ ဒို.ေျမ ဒို႕ ပိုင္တဲ႕ ေျမ” @ the begining of the school are Chinese boys & girls.
It is a pity, natives are under "the poverty line".
Natives can not properly educate their children.

A hundred years ago teenagers were managing farms, writing books, inventing new machines, starting families, building businesses, learning trades... while the average ADULTS today are trapped in desperate cycles of performing jobs that zap their energy, watching TV shows that dull their minds, and buying stuff they don't need with money they don't have.

Why have we become a culture of people afraid to move forward in life? Afraid of committing to positively transform ourselves and our communities?

To be clear: I'm not criticizing us in any way.

In fact, I think criticism is what keeps us trapped in our self-created prisons. One of the keys principles in my entirely new Inscribe Your Life® program is how we have been criticized into a state of childish paralysis.

The number one comment I receive from readers is that they have trouble getting started in any type of personal development program. Buying the programs is easy. But they can't remain focused and consistent when it comes to keeping a meditation routine, building loving relationships, growing a business, or improving their health...

Or if they do get started they become distracted or discouraged in a matter of hours or days.

The thing is...

It's not your fault.

Look at schooling for example...


Like me, you probably spent 12+ years of your life being isolated from the real world, cloistered together with other immature children, and forced to read and recite facts and figures.

New York State's official "Teacher of the Year," John Taylor Gatto (a public school teacher for 30 years) described the public education like this:
"I had more than enough reason to think of our schools – with their long-term, cell-block-style forced confinement of both students and teachers – AS VIRTUAL FACTORIES OF CHILDISHNESS.... Is it possible that George W. Bush accidentally spoke the truth when he said he would ‘leave no child behind'? Could it be that our schools are designed to make sure not one of them ever really grows up?"

Our society is producing people who are afraid to "step out of line" and live life on their own empowered terms. Our society actually discourages the qualities necessary for each and every one of us live up to our greatest potential.

Does this happen by accident? I doubt it...

In 1918, Alexander Inglis wrote, in his book "Principles of Secondary Education," that the education system was designed to "produce a population deliberately dumbed down and declawed in order that government might proceed unchallenged and corporations might never want for obedient labor."

In 1924, H.L. Mencken wrote in the The American Mercury: "The aim [of compulsory schooling] is to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to put out dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States...and that is its aim everywhere else."

Yes, there's been a long-fought psychological war against your mind...

To make you feel that your purpose in life is to be employed and to buy stuff. If you DARE step outside of those parameters then your Inner Critic – intentionally inflated for you by society – will reprimand you severely for daring to think you are able or deserving to be anything more than what others say you can be.

You may have been subjected to ten, twenty, thirty or more years of this type of limiting conditioning.

And it can feel kind of hopeless at times...

But it's actually not. :)

See, in order for society to have this type of influence on you it all had to be done
unconsciously and subliminally.

Never out in the open...
