100,000 IDPs in Arakan State are being denied aid and there is a humanitarian crisis, people are starving.
Hundreds of political prisoners remain in jail, torture is still being used.
The Burmese Army continues to rape and kill in Kachin State. There is suffering because the government is blocking aid to tens of thousands of displaced Kachin people.
Pesident Thein Sein has proposed ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya.
The number of internally displaced people in Burma has tripled since Thein Sein came to power.
Burma is ruled by a military-backed government which has one of the worst human rights records in the world.
