ျမန္မာေခါင္းေဆာင္ေတြႏွင့္ ေတြ႕ဆုံအၿပီး၊ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံရဲ႕ အေျခအေနကို ျခံဳငုံ၊ သုံးသပ္ၿပီး ေျပာဆိုရာမွာ ပုပ္ရဟန္းမင္းႀကီးက ၊
"အျပဳသေဘာေဆာင္တဲ႔ ဘက္ကို ဦးတည္ၿပီး၊ ေရွ႕ဆက္သြားႏိုင္ဖို႔က အေတာ္ခက္ခဲပါ လိမ့္မယ္"။
တခ်ိန္တည္းမွာ၊ ေနာက္ျပန္ဆုတ္ခ်င္ေနတဲ့ သူေတြ အတြက္ကလည္း အလားတူ ခဲယဥ္းပါလိမ့္မယ္"။

Francis said that, after meeting with Myanmar's leaders, his overall analysis of the situation in the country was that "it will not be easy to go ahead in a constructive way and it will not be easy for someone who wants to go backward."
